First Impressions

I have heard that the average amount of time it takes to make a first impression with people is around 7 seconds.  When I think back to the two different "experiences" we had when we were called to the front, each walk to the front probably fit this average.  It is interesting to see how much  ethos/credibility can be earned within those 7 seconds.

Anna Deavere Smith mentions (page 133) how we should approach fear by not denying it but working through it and knowing how to manage it in our minds and bodies.  Activities, such as we did  today, can help get in touch with that pressure/fear so we know how our bodies will react with a greater degree of predictability.
